'00 Boys CASL Shootout Champs

CASL Shootout Champs

Congrats to Coach Mendoza and the ’00 Boys on a great tournament win. The team went 3-0 in round robin play scoring 8 and giving up only 1 against three Virginia based teams. The championship game was against FVAA whom the ’00s had tied in the regular season 2-2. After 70 minutes of competitive play the score was still knotted at 0-0. In the second of two overtimes Ethan Keating streaked down the left side, collected a long pass from Salvador Guzman, and buried the championship winner with only 90 seconds left to play before Kicks From the Mark.

Well done!
